It's November Already

I can't believe that it's November already, and that I haven't posted anything since April. Oppps, but it's not like anyone has missed anything. Here is a beautiful picture of my darling Abby Cadabby on Hallooween.

Loved the costume, and she was a great Trick or Treater. She always said Thank you and was very kind. She got pretty tired as the night got later, but over all really good.
So, over the last couple of month, I've had two people close to me become engaged. Which means one wedding on June of 2010, and the other one in Oct. 2010. My sister and my sister in law which means Gracelyn will be busy in both of those weddings. Ryan and I will also be in my sisters wedding, and who knows about Amanda's wedding. Last I heard, her own brothers probably won't be in the wedding, so who knows. That's fine with me. I hope to be pregnant right after my sister's wedding.
Otherwise, nothing much has happened. I mentioned earlier that we were going to buy a camper, and keep it seasonally at a campground. We did that all summer, and had a very fun time. We have decided to do it again next summer, but we'll be in Owatonna at a campground there. That will be closer for us, and better all around. So,that's it for now...I shall be back tomorrow.

It's Been Awhile

Whoa!!! I can't believe I didn't post anything in March. I guess it's been a busy month. So busy that I can't remember a thing that I did. The weather was shitty, like always in Minnesota. The intelligient weather man say that March either comes in like a Lion and goes out like a Lamb, but I call their bullshit. IT ALWAYS COMES IN LIKE A LION AND LEAVES LIKE A LION. In my opinion. I've lived in MN my entire life, and I've never seen a lamb. And since I'm a true Minnesotan, it's only right that I'm talking about the weather.

This weekend (well I should say this Saturday) was beautiful. Warm, sunny, wonderful day for everyone to get out and get some cleaning up things around the house and yard done. Then comes Sunday, rainy, shitting, cold, driery day. What is with this? It's April, I understand that it rains in April, but does it have to do it when it's 30 degrees, and thus turning the rain into snow. I don't think so.

So, where did March go? Not sure, we had Easter, went to Des Moines (ended up in the ER on the way home), had Rhonda's wedding, and that's about it. Time sure is flying. Gracelyn had yet another ear infection. We are now trying Chiropractic work before we try tubes. Ryan had tubes his entire life, and thus he claims he can't hear because of it. I believe there are other reasons, but that's another post all together.

What to look forward to in April? We might be buying a camper and getting a seasonal spot in a small campground about a 1/2 hour from here. Being down there every weekend this summer would be nice because then we won't spend much on going out, and driving all over. Other than that...not too much. I will post regarding the progress of that, and Gracelyn's Chiropractic work. As of now, I do believe it's work, but only time will tell. Bowling will be done tomorrow!! I love going every Wednesday, but it gets to be a long season. We are going to try a beanbag league this summer. That will be interesting considering I have never in my life thrown a beanbag to get points. HMMMMM!!! We'll see.

Fan-Fucking-Tabulous

That's yet another ear infection for my little baby girl. I think she's had about 14 or so since she was born. I want to just live in a bubble for the rest of winter because everytime I turn around, someone is telling me about how sick they are, and they know this person who is just getting over this....

Then, let's just add another nail to the coffin...my dad's surgery will be NEXT Thursday. Precisely the day that I leave for my snowmobile trip that we have been planning since last February. That's just wonderful. We couldn't do surgery this Thursday because why? Oh, yeah that's right, the surgeon is SICK!!!! Here comes that bubble idea again.

Now, my dad knows that we are going on that trip next Thursday but to do think he is going to remember. Nope, just make me feel bad. I've already put money down on this trip, paid for the hotel, which is non refundable, and have 5 other people that are depending on us to get them there also. So, when we found out that surgery is NEXT Thursday, Ryan just looked at me and said, don't even think about it. Which, I totally understand where he's coming from, but will everyone else. I'll let you know.

I Wanna Be A Dr.

After spending at day at the clinic with my dad yesterday, I decided I want to be a dr. I'm sorry to sound mean right here, but it's how I feel. They sit at their little desks, and say "we better consult another dr." Okay....what was the reason we came to you then? I thought you were supposed to give us the answers. Are you too scared to say that you have cancer? It's not a fun thing to tell anyone, but people have the right to know.

So, lets make another appt with another dr so they can request more test and draw more blood and get more of my dad's hard earned money to tell him the results are inconclusive. Yeah, that makes sense. Sounds like a good job for me. Confuse the hell out of a lot of people.

Another day at the clinic, another day spent hurrying up to wait to hear no news. Spend some more money on the parking ramp, support the stores around the area because you can't have appts back to back...no, one's at 7, then you have to wait until 4 for the next one. Can't go home because the clinic is over an hour away. Next appt is on Friday, we'll see what this intelligent dr has to tell us. All we want to know is the truth buddy. Is it cancer, can it be treated or removed, what are the options. Please tell us something before we have to go through another weekend without any answers. I bet you've never been through it, so why would it matter to you.

Another vent...Valentine's day. I'm a romantic at heart. I loved being showered with gifts, but why just one random day in February. I would rather be surprised with flowers on May 7th. Just some day when I know my husband would possibly be thinking of me, but everyone else in the world isn't spending $100 on over priced roses just because someone at Hallmark said lets make people spend money in February.

Start to Something New

Don't hate me because I've never done this before, but I thought I would give it a try. I'm a 27 year old mother to a wonderful little baby girl. We live in a small town in cold and snowy Minnesota. I've been married to my husband for almost three years, but we have been together for almost 7.

I've used the term "Mommy's Always Right" because I feel like I have to be a mother to my husband most of the time. What is with men that they can't do anything on their own. The problem with my husband, is he had never lived on his own before we moved in together. And if it wasn't for me, he would probably still be living with his mother. I guess that isn't a "problem" per-say, but it does make for some issues.

He doesn't know how to cook other than to put a frozen pizza in the oven, and cook it until the smoke dectectors go off. I went away for a weekend, and he had to call me to ask how to make Mac & Cheese...he later called to tell me he did something wrong, because it tasted horrible. How hard is it to read the directions on the box, or a recipe that we have many of in the cabinet.

So, I'm starting this blog mostly to vent, and try to find humor in my everyday life. It's not really exciting, but I'm hoping that someone out there might find some stress relief reading about my mondane life style. Oh and trust me, stupid stuff always happens to me, no matter what.
